It’s a great spot for a quiet beer after work. The Wot Island Sports Bar is our ‘local’, and it’s a beauty. The staff are laid back, the drinks are cold, and the atmosphere’s great – just like a country pub. You can grab a pizza if you’re after a bite, and you’ll always find a seat and someone to talk to.The team throws on regular events each week, which are a hoot! If you’re handy with a cue there are pool competitions. Trivia Night is always fun. A few of the boys get into the regular Darts Comp – I’m hopeless at that, but it’s fun to watch. And they’ve got a projector screen so we don’t miss any of the big games.
If you’ve had a rough day or a big week, there’s nowhere better to relax and unwind. You get home from work, jump in the shower and then meet up at Wot Island. Last one there shouts!
